Noting
A simple way to recognize what is happening—clearly, gently, and without getting lost.
Noting is the practice of softly naming what is present in your experience.
You are not analyzing or judging. You are simply recognizing.
Thinking is here. Feeling is here. Breathing is here.
What Noting Means
Noting is a quiet mental label that helps bring clarity to experience.
- thinking
- fear
- tightness
- hearing
- breathing
The word is light, simple, and brief.
A Simple Noting Practice
1. Pause
Take a moment to stop and arrive.
2. Notice What Stands Out
Let something become clear in your experience.
3. Name It Gently
Use a soft label: thinking, fear, pressure, breathing.
4. Let It Be
There is nothing to fix. Just recognize and allow.
