A Simple Way to Practice

You can begin in a very simple way.

Sit comfortably.
Let the body settle.
Take one or two natural breaths.

Step 1 — Calm First

Gently place attention on the breath.

Not controlling it.
Just noticing it.

Let the mind settle, even a little.

Step 2 — Open Awareness

Now allow awareness to widen.

Notice what is here:

  • sounds
  • sensations
  • thoughts
  • feelings

Let them come and go.

Step 3 — Abide Gently

Nothing needs to be changed.

You are not trying to improve this moment.
You are allowing it.

There is thinking.
There is feeling.
Awareness is here.

If the Mind Gets Busy

This is natural.

Gently return to the breath.
Calm first, then open again.

Short Daily Version

  • pause
  • feel one breath
  • notice what is here
  • allow it
